Hello out there ......... Vince is back and about to start this blog thing running for the rest of the season. Wow! what a turn around for Brawn ......... they are losing pace, Red Bull are gaining pace and Rubens is losing his patience. A balancing is taking place out there and it is looking like we're in for an exciting second half of the F1 season.

Well the race is over and the weekend follows on its tail. What a dominating result for the Red Bull team at the 'last' ever British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Vettel drove a superb race leading a field of drivers who were simply average in comparison. Team mate Mark Webber finished the race in second place and the final podium spot was filled by Rubens Barrichello in the Brawn GP car. The Brits

Qualifying saw the local star only able to manage a 6th place on the grid for Sundays British Grand Prix. But if that sounds like a lot of work then the reigning champion Lewis Hamilton could only manage a lowly 19th. Not the inspiration the fans in the packed Silverstone grandstands were hoping for. Red Bull were the team of the day qualifying Sebastian Vettel on Pole and Mark Webber at 3rd.

Good morning campers .......... a little rain during the night wont dampen these boys spirits.Spent Friday watching practice one and two and consuming several beverages. Red Bull look like the pace setters so far with Vettel and Webber looking like the ones to beat. Towcester visit was the evening event and Parallel Blondie the music of choice at the Saracens Head.
